Many people associates protein powder supplements with gym rats that spend half their lives in the gym, pumping those muscles. But the simple fact of the matter is that everybody has to have a decent amount of protein in their diets. The problem with modern society is that people are naturally inclined to getting too many carbohydrates in their diets, and not nearly enough proteins. This is a crying shame, because proteins are absolutely essential to a person’s diet. If you do not get enough proteins each and every day of your life, you are missing out. With too few proteins, you will simply not be as healthy as you could be.
Proteins are the building blocks of your body. Carbohydrates are important too, because they provide you with energy. But many people eat too many of the wrong carbohydrates… that is the kinds of carbs you find in candy bars and pizzas. Those kinds of carbs will give you an energy spike, causing your blood sugar to go up quickly. Your body can’t deal with this quick release of energy caused by the carbs.
